Bridgwater Gateway is located close to the Stockmoor and Wilstock areas of the neighbouring North Petherton. There are good walking routes to and from the housing in the village and into Bridgwater itself.

There are plans for a local convenience store within the site and there are other shops and cafes within metres of the site entrance.

Seating and walk ways will be provided within and through the site. The site borders a country park.
